Trust Administration

Many people are establishing revocable living trusts.  Or they may be the beneficiary of a trust established by a parent or other loved one.

The administration of trusts involves the legal duties owed by the trustee to the beneficiaries and the legal rights of beneficiaries.  It includes the proper investment of trust property, accounting for trust income and property, timely distribution, and other legal and tax issues.  Oklahoma law imposes many duties and responsibilities on trustees.

In cases of conflict or where the document creating the trust is unclear, it may be necessary to seek resolution or clarification by the District Court.
